Welcome back to the travels of Marc and Melissa!
We decided to take a 3 day break and go visit our family in snowy Grand Rapids. We would like to send a warm thank you to Aunty Lucy, Ben, Andrea, Isaiah, and Evangeline for making our stay truly memorable! Our early mornings with Isaiah, afternoon naps with Evangeline, and late night talks with Ben and Andrea was a blessing. We were so happy that we could finally spend some time with the little ones since we couldn't see them at the wedding:) Isaiah showed Marc that he can't hang with the energy of a 2 year old anymore. Seeing the youth of a child reminded us of what life can be like when you truly enjoy every minute, gently love someone, and are constantly learning.
After building one last skate park and playing soccer with Isaiah we packed up and headed out for Chicago. We arrived into Chicago at 5:00 this evening and met up with our great friend Grant Castor, who just happen to be here on business for the weekend. We are going to ride the EL downtown and grab some deep dish at Lou Malnati's Pizzeria and see what a saturday night is all about in Chi-Town:)
